Stained Wood Mosaics
exhibit pic 2.jpg

I make my wood mosaics by cutting a panel of thick wood into pieces, then cutting the pieces again to different depths.  Each piece is edge sanded, colored with water-based stains, and glued to a baltic birch plywood panel.

The mosaics are not currently for sale.

Wood Strip Sculptures
These are made from recycled wooden window blinds and leftover strips of wood from other projects.  Individual strips are shaped and stained, then glued together to form the image. Each is approximately 12" high.
